Hello Top Model Fans, TopModelFan1 here with the scoop from this week's episode of ANTM Cycle 10.
The girls arrived in NYC and got acquainted at their new home, decked out with a runway and of course--copious pictures of Tyra. No Top Model house is complete without pictures of Tyra.
At dinner, Fatima was rubbing the girls the wrong way. I love Fatima! She's the best one. I'm sure they're just trying to make her the black bitch. Whatever, she's FIERCE!
The next morning, the Jays came over to pick the girls up and took them all over the city. Last stop--Times Square in which the girls were to walk in an IMPROMPTU Badgely/Mischka show. Some rocked it, and some crashed and burned. Overall, they did pretty well. Fatima, Claire, ands Katarzyna did really well, as did Stacy Ann and Whitney. The hands down worst had to be Lauren. Why is she there? Kristen (the one with the black hair who's boyfriend is in Iraq) was MUCH better. Marvita was also pretty bad. She stared at the floor the whole time.
After that, the girls met with Neal Hamil, the director of Elite Model Management. There, he and SUPER model Paulina Porizkova (Twiggy's replacement) critiqued the girls. I LOVE Paulina, she is so real. I love how she called Dominique a "transvestite" and Kimberly as "too High School Musical". SO TRUE!
Wasting no time, the girls entered the gigantic eco-friendly MY ASS cab en route to their first photoshoot, in which they had to portray homeless youth. They model with real homeless girls from a NYC shelter. Those girls were a MILLION times fiercer than some of the actual 14 contestants.

Aimee:
She's a bit too commercial in person. She tends to make this really ugly facial expression in which her eyebrows curl. She has some potential, but she needs SEVERE grooming. 1.5 POINTS
Allison:
She's the most professional of the girls. She has a great look and photographs well, but her runway walk was not good. I see otential in her. 2.5 POINTS
Amis:
She looks like an old leather bag. I don't like her. 0 POINTS
Anya:
She is so adorable. She has a great look, and I see a lot of potential in her. 2.5 POINTS
Atalya:
She is a pretty girl, but she way too soft. 1 POINT
Claire:
She's very quirky and elegant. I actually like her. Her pose in the photo, however, was not very good. 2.5 POINTS
Dominique:
She's too rough and drag queen-ish, but she's strong willed....I guess that's OK. 0.5 POINTS
Fatima:
I LOVE FATIMA! That is all. 3 POINTS
Katarzyna:
For not having any experience, she's pretty good. I love her look. 2.5 POINTS
Kimberly:
She's way too doll-ish for me. She did take a good photo though. 0.5 POINTS
Lauren:
Umm.....no thank you. 0 POINTS
Marvita:
I find Marvita to be way too confrontational, and her walk is atrocious. 0 POINTS
Stacy Ann:
I love this girl. She is FIERCENESS PERSONIFIED! 3 POINTS
Whitney:
She reminds me of Hilary Rhoda so much. I love Whitney, she's my favorite plus sized girl BY FAR. I hope she doesn't screw up like the other ones. 3 POINTS
My pick of the week definitely has to be Whitney. I think she can change the industry.
So, at panel, Kimberly revealed that she has no passion for fashion, and thus, she quit. Elimination still commenced. Anya was called first, leaving Atalya and Amis in the bottom two.
And the first girl to go was...
ATALYA!? Bad call. She screamed "beginner model". It was Tyra's chance to turn a young girl into a supermodel and she chose a leather bag with teeth? Bad call....

Wow! She is the best white girl on here! She is also the BEST looking plus-sized girl ever to be on ANTM, besides Sarah from Cycle 9. This girl is a Hilary Rhoda look-a-like. I hope she isn't tainted like the rest.

Back to vintage my ass!
There are 14 girls this season, which means there is a good chance of a double-cut or an intruder.
Tyra was seen in Brazil and Italy, so perhaps those are the locales of the trip this season.
This season they are back to NYC, so that's good. The whole concept this cycle is Back to Vintage, which doesn't look too promising.
Paulina Porizkova, who is more famous, successful, and talented than Janice and Tyra COMBINED, is Twiggy's replacement. The big-eyed British beauty left the show. Guess she left before more of her career died. Keep on keeping on Twiggy, we will miss you.
So there you have it, "America's Next Top Model Cycle 10: Male Model Edition" is premiering February 20th at 8/7c on the CW, I don't know if it is 2 hours or 1.
Don't plan on finding out, I'm done with show. "Make Me A Supermodel" on Bravo it 151564626424737373762467261211 times better, so I'll be on that.

Hey there Top Model fans! We've reached the end of the runway: The Finale of America's Next Top Model 9! The 13 finalists reached terrifying new heights, and only THREE are left, but by the end of the night, only one will be left to tell the tale, and she will be crowned AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL!
Here is my post, "the Good, the Bad, and the Fugly", where I score the three finalists and their past performances.
"THE GOOD": CHANTAL-
OVERALL SCORE: 27/30 PTS
Thoughts: When I first saw Channie, I thought she was a pageant princess who wouldn't last past week 2. But this girl has had one of the greatest performances, and one of the highest scores I've EVER seen in Top Model history. She is obviously my vote to win and Tyra would be a DUMB-ASS for not letting her win. Spoiler Alert: Rumor has it, Chantal is 3rd (BULL-SHIT!)
"THE BAD": JENAH
OVERALL SCORE: 22/30 PTS
Thoughts: I thought she was indie chic and totally cool. I thought she was my highfashion queen, but she got the weave, and then the weave GOT HER! This girl has been trashy chic, and unpassionate. Again, she only wants to be an actress, tells me an insider source. Spoiler Alert: Rumor also has it, this girlie is Runner-Up.
& "THE FUGLY": SALEISHA
OVERALL SCORE: 20.5/30 PTS
Thoughts: Ah FUGleisha! I sized you up from the get-go. Not only is she an ILLEGAL contestant (she has had major modeling experience prior to the show and has been employed under Tyra, which breaks rule #10 of the ANTM contract), she is CRIMINALLY UGLY! Her little Fob cut made her more Dora-esque than Louise Brooks, and when have I EVER seen her do a shoot that was ACTUALLY good? Yeah, like 1! I cannot stand Saleisha! Spoiler Alert: This bitch WINS apparently!
My pick:
3) Jenah- fake and unpassionate!
2) Saleisha- just let the bitch eat her words!
1) Chantal- this girl truly is the epitamy of what ANTM is!

NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT TOP MODEL FANS! This penultimate episode of Cycle 9 was H-O-T!
This week the final 4 beauties standing moved to Beijing, the capital of China, where they were met by Miss Jay and Twiggy who taught them about the Four Beauties, ancient legends in Chinese culture. The girls were then given their weekly challenge to go to the mall in the traditional dresses of the Four Beauties with 1 hour and a budget to update these ancient looks. Bianca, being the nice, well-spirited competitor that she is, told Jenah that a vacant mall across the street was FILLED with stuff. After Jenah took B's advice, she realized she got played- Top Model style!
Immediately after their shopping deadline, the girls had to perform in a runway show with their updated looks for Miss Jay, Twiggy, and Seventeen's editor-in-chief Ann Shoket. Jenah won the challenge and chose Chantal to receive the prize of a CUSTOM-MADE dress with her. But, Jenah got a surprise when Miss Jay offered her a private runway lesson.
At the photoshoot, Tyra was the girls' photographer. This week's shoot called for the girls to be invaders trying to enter the Great Wall of China, one of the 7 wonders of the World. This shoot was amaaaaaazing! Here are their best shots:
Bianca-

After the girls' individual shots, they all came together for a group picture to see who stood out the most:
At Panel, the judges thought Chantal stood out the most and secured her a spot in the Final 3, but the same could not be said for Bianca and Jenah...well, one of them. They were both in the bottom this week. Bianca, for her lack of solid progression and Jenah, for her lack of desire, and in the end it was Bianca who lost a spot in the finale, and she was sent home.
Now, only THREE girls remain: Chantal, Jenah, and Saleisha. WHO WILL BE AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL 9? Find out THIS Wednesday at 8/7c on the season finale, only on he CW!
